Dale W. Mackey

Dale W. Mackey, 81 of Streator passed away Monday afternoon (November 5^th) at his home. 

A visitation will be held on Saturday from 11AM -1PM at the Winterrowd Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1PM at the funeral home.  Cremation rites will be accorded following services.

Dale was born on December 31, 1936 in Streator to Bernice (Mackey) Macicha.   

He married Mary Mothershed on April 3, 1960.  She survives.

Also surviving are his children, Alan (Shari) Mackey of Austin, TX, daughter, Jodie Davidson of Streator and Todd (Theresa) Mackey of Long Point, 6 grandchildren, Julia (Shane) Beddow of St. Joseph, IL, Jessica Davidson of LaSalle, Robert, Christopher, Tyler and Travis and 16 great-grandchildren, Kiah, Brynn, Kariah, Queen, Wynter, Ethan, Robbie, Leelynd, Alivia, Aurora, Xenia Jo, Joey, Xavier, Aaliyah, Aaraya and Riley.

He is preceded in death by his mother and step-father, John Macicha.

Dale attended St. Anthony Grade School and Streator High School.  He served in the Air force from 1953-1957 and worked as an electrician at Thatcher’s Glass and Anchor retiring in 1991. 

He was a member of the Church of the Open Bible and the Streator Eagles.
