Corey Ryan Fredericksen

Corey Ryan Fredericksen, 44 of Streator, IL passed away suddenly on Friday, September 15, 2023, in LaSalle, IL.

A visitation will be held at Winterrowd Funeral Home (Streator) on Thursday, September 21st from 4:00 – 7:00 PM.  A Time of Remembrance to be held at 7:00 PM.  A Celebration of Life will be held at the Streator Moose Lodge; date and time to be announced on Facebook at a later date.  Arrangements and cremation rights will be accorded and entrusted to Winterrowd Funeral Home, Streator, IL.

Corey was born on June 19, 1979, in Streator, IL to Thomas and Kimberly (Nielson) Fredericksen.  He married Nikki Lietz on June 20, 2014.  She survives.

Survivors include: his daughter Ashley N. Fredericksen of Missouri; stepchildren Vincent Lietz of Ottawa, IL, Sydney Beyer of Piedmont, MO and Makenzie Beyer of Chicago, IL; three grandchildren Michael, Willow, and Zeke Lietz of OK; his parents, Tom and Kim Fredericksen of Streator, IL; brother, Nathan Fredericksen of Streator, IL; sister-in-law, Shelley (Chris) Longman of Rockton, IL; nephews and nieces, Drew (Lexi) Smith of San Antonio, TX, Lexie Smith of Navarre, FL, Samantha and Nikolaus (Little Nicky) Longman of Rockton, IL; also his only beloved great niece, Addison Smith of San Antonio, TX.  Also surviving are several aunts, uncles, cousins and special friends including Fred Moore, Dave Cain, Brian Wahl, Ron “Pops” Yedinak, The Zulfer Family and of course his beloved dogs, J.C. Wigglebutt and Ryker.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Clarence and Sandra Halsne, and his cherished Boxers, Jax and Jade.

Corey attended Streator grade schools and graduated from Streator High School in 1997.  Corey was a 20+ year member of the Streator Moose Lodge.  He was employed at PDQ Logistics in LaSalle, IL and was formerly employed at Chippers Grill in Streator, IL. Corey enjoyed international travel with a great group of friends, his multiple volunteer opportunities at the Streator Moose Lodge, and spending time with his extensive family. Corey was also an avid fan of Notre Dame, the Fighting Irish.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Nicole Fredericksen, in honor of Corey Fredericksen.
