Christopher John Hallam

Christopher John Hallam, 46 of Streator passed away Friday (November 14, 2025) at the BRIA of Westmont, IL

A celebration of life will be held Monday (Dec. 1st) from 3 – 5 P.M. at the Winterrowd Funeral Home.

Chris was born December 15, 1978, in Streator to John Scott and Becky (Brunton) Hallam.

Surviving is his daughter Madisen Brianne Hallam of Bourbonnais, parents, John Hallam of Streator, Becky Brunton of Streator, aunts, Martha Ball of Streator, Linda (Rick Hays) Dye of Streator, and Cindy (Gary) Eggleston of N. Carolina, Uncle Dan (Arhley) Brunton of Lake in the Hills and special friend Dana.

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, John and Lucy Hallam, maternal grandparents, Ray and Betty Brunton and best friend David (Drawls) Drosten.

Chris attended Streator Grade Schools and Streator High School, and he received his associates degree in drafting in Colorado. He enjoyed cooking, playing pool, bowling and spending time with friends.
