Guestbook

Katie and I were buddies for many years. We did many things together. We never argued. She was a friend and a sister. I remember playing hopscotch with her as a child, even in the evening under a streetlamp. As far as I'm concerned, she's still by my side, and I'm grateful for that. Sandy took such good care of her. She should be thanked by everyone who knows her. I'm sure you will always have her in your thoughts, Sandy, as we all do.

Katie was a wonderful person and a loving aunt. I have many fond memories of her as a child and as an adult. I'm thankful to have her as part of my family. She was loved very much and is missed.

We will miss you, Grandma Katie. I hope you are reunited with all of your loved ones--both furry and otherwise, and that my Abbie has found you.

This is how we will remember Katie, with a big smile on her face!
Sandy, take great comfort in knowing that you were just what your mother needed these last few months: a loving, caring daughter who selflessly stayed by her side and helped her in every possible way. All of us in Nevada were so grateful for that. I treasure the memories of family time together growing up in Streator with our dear grandma and all of our aunts, uncles, and cousins. Katie was with us for so many years, and yet it just doesn't seem long enough. So many thoughts are running through my head, and yet I find myself unable to capture them with words. Please know that we loved your mom very much, and we will miss her more than words can say.
