Carol J. Perry

Carol J. Perry, 71 of Streator passed away Sunday evening (November 8^th) at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria.

A Celebration of Life will be held Friday (November 13^th) from 4 – 7 PM at the Winterrowd Funeral Home with cremation rites accorded.  Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.

Carol was born on September 27, 1944 in Streator to Delbert and Marian (Stuart) Puckett.

Surviving are daughters, Melanie (Joshua) Cook of Streator and Brenda Perry of Virginia, grandson, Joshua Holland and great-granddaughter, Jerzie Wilkerson, sister; Sharon (Ed) Kohn of Missouri, brothers; Rick (Beth) Puckett of Streator, David (Dana) Puckett of Houston, TX, Mike (Deana) Puckett of Streator, Ron Puckett of Streator, Randy (Michelle) Puckett of N. Carolina and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, a grandson Ryan Osland, brothers; Delbert, Andrew, James, Wayne, Mark and Terry Puckett.

Carol attended Streator Grade Schools and graduated from Streator High School in 1962 and in 2004 she retired after 42 years from Owens Illinois Glass.  She enjoyed playing bingo and euchre.

Memorials may be made in her name to a charity of the donors’ choice.
