Carol J. Pellegrine, 73 of Streator passed away Thursday (August 13th) at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria
A visitation will be held Monday from 4 – 7 PM at the Winterrowd Funeral Home.  Services will be held Monday at 7 PM at the funeral home.
Carol was born on January 24, 1942 in Odell to Cyril P. and Mary (Richardson) Downey.
Surviving are; daughter Debbie Martin of Magnolia, sons, Douglas Smith of Gordonville, MO and Brady (Tracy) Smith of Marseilles, 11 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren, sisters, Shirley (Dan) Cebulko of Peoria, Margaret (Paul) Cinnamon Sr. of Montgomery, Deloris (Ron) Gallick of Peoria, sister-in-law, Nancy Downey of Streator and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers James and Leo Downey.
Carol graduated from Streator High School in 1960 and retired from Tele Performance USA in Streator.
Memorials may be made in her name to the Illinois Eye Bank.

Mom just a little something from your son Doug I miss you more today then yesterday an think about you in my life everyday I wake wish you were here but know you are in gods hands an doing well..an that's fine with me ...but know you are loved an missed by me an wife Amanda more then you will ever know...just wish were still here to spend more time with us ...an miss calling you everyday making sure you were doing ok ....kinda lost for words mom just know you are loved by us an never forgotten an won't be as long as I'm here an soon will be together on the other side until then love an miss you with all my heart ..love ya mom

Thoughts and prayers for Carol's family.. I haven't seen Carol in years we ended up losing touch..so sorry for your loss. She was a sweet lady..
