Brett E. Spitznagle

Brett E. Spitznagle, 57 of Streator and formerly of Washington, IL passed away Wednesday evening (February 28, 2024) at his home.  

Following cremation, private family services will be held.  

Winterrowd Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.

Brett was born on August 9, 1966, in Sunnyland, IL to Larry and Helen Spitznagle.

He married Kathy Jo Winn-McBride on November 13, 2019.  She survives.   

Surviving is his wife, Kathy Jo Spitznagle of Streator, mother, Helen Spitznagle of Washington, NC, brother, Scott (Katherine) Spitznagle of Edwards, IL and sister, Dana (John) Parker of Washington, NC and several nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.   

He is preceded in death by his father and nephew, Chad Williams.

Brett attended Washington High School in Washington, IL.  

Memorials may be directed to the donor’s choice.
