Barbara J. Sherwood

Barbara J. Sherwood, 73 of Streator passed away Saturday evening (December 3, 2016) at her home.

Visitation will be Wednesday (December 7, 2016) from 10 a.m. to Noon at the Winterrowd Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at Noon following the visitation with the Pastor Chuck Giacinto officiating. Cremation rites will be accorded following the services.

Barbara was born January 14, 1943 in Columbus Indiana to John Wesley and Lula Earl (Baker) Cox.

She is survived by a son Charles Edward (Mary) Sherwood of Streator, 

Sister; Saretta (Ronald) Missel of Streator, Brother; Carl W. Cox of Pontiac, 3 grandchildren; Charles L. (Cassandra) Sherwood, Amber Sherwood and James Sherwood all of Streator and 3 great grand children.

She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings; John A. Cox, Mary I. Bushey, Walter L. Cox, Thomas F. Cox and Clarence A. Cox.

She was a former member of the Ladies Auxillary of the Streator Eagles Club #645.  She attended Grace Community Church in Streator.

She was a loving grandma and to her great grandchildren she was known as G.G.
