Ann Eileen Hobbs McKee, 92 of Streator passed away on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at Pavilion of Ottawa.
Cremation has been accorded. There will be no services or visitation at this time. A private family memorial will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Winterrowd Funeral Home.
Ann was born on September 27, 1933, in Detroit, Michigan, the youngest of seven children born to Fred and Essa Hobbs.
She married Harold McKee on June 16, 1952, in Long Point. Harol’s father, the Reverend Edward Harold McKee, officiated the ceremony.
Ann is survived by her five children; Robert McKee of Kewanee, Harold E. (Cynthia) McKee of Chesnee, SC, Kathleen (Jeff) Vickers of Martin, TN, Joyce A. McKee and Linda (Roland) Jung both of Streator. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, as well as many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold McKee, her infant son, Andrew John McKee, her grandson Robbie McKee, her parents and all of her siblings.
While Ann worked for several years at Plymouth Tube in Streator, she was first and foremost a devoted homemaker with a deep love for her family. She cared for her children with unwavering devotion, and even in her final hours, her thoughts remained with them and their well-being.
She will be dearly missed.
The family extends its sincere appreciation to the staff at Pavilion of Ottawa, Vitas and to Winterrowd Funeral Home for their compassionate and dedicated care during Ann’s final days.
