Alice Ann Fellers

Alice Ann Fellers, 81 of Ladd and formerly of Streator passed away Saturday morning (October 21, 2023) at Unity Methodist Hospital, Peoria.

Alice was born on August 1, 1942, in Streator to John and Camilla (Boatman) Mital.  She married Roger Fellers on December 21, 1985.  He survives.

Also surviving are daughter, Lori (Dan) Nichols of Streator and son Brian (Gina) Carlson of Morris, grandchildren, Alyssa (Joe Wagner) Nichols and Brady Nichols, Tyler (Kaylea) Mann and Zachary (Elizabeth Eggenberger) Mann, great grandchildren, Phenyx, Levyathan, Artemys, Axel and Atlas.

She is preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Barbara Kling and Pamela Swartz, brothers John “Buster” Mital and Thomas Mital.

Alice attended Streator Grade School and graduated from Streator High School in 1960.  She was a member of the Crossbridge Community Church, Ottawa.  Alice was a Sunday school teacher for many years at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Seneca. She was a former dietitian at the Morris Hospital and retired from R&R Donnelly in Pontiac.  Alice enjoyed sewing, quilting, cooking, gardening, and volunteering at many nursing homes.  She was an avid animal lover.  Alice enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or any humane society.

Private family services will be held.  The Winterrowd Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
