Everett Quinney

An Everett W. Quinney, 92 of Courtyard Estates, Bradford and formerly of Streator passed away Monday October 4, 2021 at his home.

Graveside services were held at Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery.
Everett was born on March 12, 1929 in LaFayette to William J. and Lucille (Craig) Quinney. He married Margaret Todd on November 16, 1956. She preceded him in death on June 2, 2019.
Surviving is a son James (Kathy) Cable of Galva, grandchildren, Julie (Tim) Hicks of Toulon, James (Christy) Cable of Kewanee and Todd (Amy) Hagerty of Dahinda, great-grandchildren Thorin and Grace Hicks, Alyssa and Emma Cable, Allison, Mathew and Ryan Hagerty.
He is preceded in death by his parents, siblings, David Quinney and Kay Pierce.
Everett retired from the Northern Illinois Water Company and after retirement he worked for Hatzer Construction.

Memorials may be made in his name to Courtyard Estates, Bradford or to Transitions Hospice.

Everette was a great guy he taught his Sister and I how to drive a car in his Mothers drive way. Great teacher! He will be missed. RIP Everette

I enjoyed this man's company everyday I was at work he always made my day....Always wanted me to have a cocktail but was on the clock so I sat with him a few while he had his...He made me laugh and we always said we gonna cause trouble tomorrow.....He will be missed by me and others he was a great man .....Love you pops I'm gonna miss you......

I loved taking care of Everett at Courtyard Estates. He would always offering me a cocktail when I was working lol . RIP sweet man . You will be missed by me and April . But you will always be in our memory and hearts . Love Annette and April Atkins

Everett was a great man, having the pleasure of working with him for many years at the Water Company. He is at peace now with Margaret once again. My sympathy to the family, Jim and Julie.
