Lucille F. Rowatt, 90 of Streator passed away Thursday evening (February 15th) at her home.
A visitation will be held Monday from 9 – 11 AM at the Winterrowd Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday at 11:30 at the St. Michael the Archangel Church. Burial will be in St. Stephen’s Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be grandsons, Adam Divora, Dan Naughton, Brian, Brad and Zack Rowatt, great-grandsons Lance Moritz, Eric Schafer and Reed Naughton.
Lucille was born on August 22, 1927 in Streator to John and Anna (Retoff) Elko. She married Edwin Rowatt on October 11, 1947. He passed away on January 8, 2014.
Surviving is a daughter Joanne (Tom) Naughton of Grand Ridge, son Rich (Kathy) Rowatt of Normal, son-in-law Alan Divora of Wenona, grandchildren, Mary Ellen (Jeff) Moritz, Sue (Aaron) Schafer, Dan (Amy) Naughton, Colleen (NicK) Campangnolo, Adam Divora, Brian Rowatt, Brad (Kim) Rowatt and Zack Rowatt and 6 great-grandchildren.
Lucille is preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter Marianne Divora, sister Ann Bandura, 5 brothers, Louie, John, Ed, Dutch and Andy Elko.
Lucille attended St. Stephen’s Grade School and was a member of the former St. Stephen’s Church and currently the St. Michael the Archangel Church.
Couple of Lucilles greatest joys was taking care of her great-grandchildren and watching Cubs baseball.
Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
